Thank you for providing much needed distraction and entertainment during a difficult year! I would like to add to your reader list that a) I liked Version Control so much that I proposed it for my book group, but unfortunately we never met again after one Zoom meeting during the spring, so I don't know how my fellow readers liked it, or if they even read it. And b) Black Sun is great -- I loved the world building and different p.o.v. chapters and thought it was in some ways better than her other series. And c) I have spent some of the pandemic re-visiting old favorites, and Vernor Vinge's Fire Upon the Deep is still amazing. I also re-read Robert Jackson Bennett's Divine Cities Trilogy, and keep wondering why they don't get more recognition. Perhaps because they are fantasy with a sci-fi feel? I don't know, but I really like them.
Have a safe and happy New Year! I look forward to reading more of your work in 2021.
I never did get around to reading Version Control, but I've heard good things. Fire Upon the Deep is one of those books that I've had forever that I've never gotten around to reading.
And, I really have begun to love Robert Jackson Bennett's books, although I've only read his Foundryside and Shorefall (and Vigilance, a near-future SF thriller). They're brimming with ideas!
