I was really deeply unsatisfied with the second Alphabet Squadron book. Yrica's return to the Imperials just felt so... stupid, IMO and I was ready to give up on the series. I'll probably muscle through the third book just to see what happens, at least.
"A Desolation Called Peace" is as good if not better than "A Memory Called Empire". I enjoy a nice cerebral political sci fi book but I really get my teeth into a book with a bit of military science fiction mixed in as well.
That said my next read is probably "Skyward Inn" because the West country setting intrigues me.
Great list of sci-fi and fantasy reads for March! I haven't actually finished that one, unfortunately. It's on my to-read list, but I'm still powering through Light of the Jedi.
I just actually started reading Light of the Jedi! Heard mixed things, but... well... Star Wars. :D
What do you think of it so far? I'm finding it to be ... aggressively fine. Not great or bad, just fine.
I'm not overly far in, but that's my impression so far too. Perfectly, adequately, average.
This month I'm re-reading Meg Cabot's Mediator series in anticipation of the upcoming Netflix film!
Neat! What is that about?
It's a YA series that follows a high schooler who can talk to ghosts and tries to assist them in moving on to whatever is next.
Oh, that sounds really neat. I hadn't heard about that. (But then again, Netlix has a crap-ton of projects coming out at any given point.)
haven't started reading any of the Alphabet Squadron books yet. Need to get on that.
I really enjoyed the first one. Need to get to the next two.

I'm glad to hear it!
